Brian has been a professional money manager since 1993. Serving as editor of The Stockboy, a quarterly investment newsletter started in 1990. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Science in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
Brian is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Brian has served on the Board of directors for a variety of nonprofit local organizations, including Arbor Hospice, Shelter Association of Washtenaw County (President), Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (Treasurer and Chair), Lurie Terrace, the Cancer Support Community, and International Child Care.
Brian is a MENSA member, a black belt in Karate, a gardener and a golfer, has run marathons (well, two, and no more to come), and is an ever-busy Dad.
